Florida Tech (FT) engaged S3 Design (S3) to provide an athletics master plan with an overall multi-year framework for athletics project planning, construction, and fundraising. The scope of work focused on the existing outdoor fields, the Varsity Training Center, and the Clemente Center. S3 worked with FT to identify needs and deficiencies with the current program and facilities. S3 was then tasked with outlining recommendations and developing a conceptual design for a new facility to support the current field sports with a re-energized game day environment and practice amenities. The study also provides an option for the use of spaces vacated as part of the new facility and enhances the experience for the court sports that use the Charles and Ruth Clemente Center as well as the reuse of and modifications to the Anthony J. Catanese Varsity Training Center.
