S3 Design was retained by Eckerd College to complete an Athletics and Recreation Planning Study to identify and prioritize athletic and recreation facility needs. The study developed strategies for integrating improvements into the campus, and formed the basis for financial planning scenarios to successfully package projects to appropriate potential funding sources. The planning scenarios are intended to provide scalable options that can be executed individually based on available funding. While some of the packages are more functional in nature, others are driven by long-term aspirations that have more appeal to potential donors. The study recommendations are intended to aid decisions on short-term projects so that implemented solutions advance long-term goals
