St. Mark's School - Southboro, MA
St. Mark’s School of Southborough, MA retained the services of S3 Design to renovate the lower level of the Elkins Gymnasium into a Student Athlete Training Facility so that the school can keep up with its growing athletics program. The renovation included enclosing two exterior colonnades, the equipment issue room, the underutilized storage rooms, the building corridor and the existing men’s gang shower that was not being used. The colonnade was converted to interior space, and the existing openings were infilled with windows to match the existing glazing system in Elkins’ main lobby. The renovation converted the existing spaces into a training and wellness facility, as well as created a new equipment area.
